Porto Corallo, Villaputzu…a slice of heaven for you to discover

Porto Corallo is the small tourist harbor of Villaputzu, one of the towns you meet driving along the old “Orientale Sarda” road. It is located about 70 km from Cagliari, in the Sarrabus region.

Besides the tourist port of Villaputzu, the coast features two sandy beaches perfect for your summer holidays in Sardinia: Porto Corallo beach and Porto Tramatzu beach.

Porto Corallo Beach

Porto Corallo is a sandy beach that combines the beauty of the sea with the charm of history. The beach is dominated by one of the typical coastal Towers of Spanish origins, erected long ago to defend these areas.

Porto Tramatzu Beach

This amazing beach is surrounded by a lush Mediterranean maquis and features a long shore of thin sand, with golden overtones. Visitors can find many facilities such as bars, restaurants, night clubs, seaside resorts and sea excursions to the many fascinating coves of the coast.

Porto Corallo Tower

Porto Corallo Tower is one of Sardinia’s coastal towers built during the Spanish domination as protection agains attacks by the Barbarians and Corsairs. The tower is 14 meters high and protects the small harbor of Porto Corallo. From up there you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the coast.
